Jordan Clarkson - Director
Jordan has over 12 years experience specialising in financial services recruitment across Asia Pacific. Jordan spent the the early part of his recruitment career focusing on working with global investment banks assisting them in the equity research space across the region. It is this work early on in his career that established many of Jordan's key relationships which he still holds today as well as his strong reputation.
Originally from Canada, Jordan came to Australia in 2000 to stay for a year, however once arriving he found that he much preferred the weather and quickly settled into the enjoyable Australian lifestyle.
After spending a number of years working in the investment research and financial planning space, Jordan commenced his recruitment career in 2006 and prior to starting Clarkson Executive spent time working for both boutique headhunting businesses and large global recruitment firms.
In 2013 Clarkson Executive was established and since it's inception the business has continued to grow yearly. Jordan now specialises in a broad range of financial services roles and aims to take a consultative approach with his clients when working on positions. It is this approach that he has found sources the highest quality candidates for his clients and ensures their continued satisfaction.
Alana Clarkson - Director
Alana joined Clarkson Executive in 2016 after spending over 16 years working in a variety of equity market associated positions.
Alana commenced her career in 2000 with brokerage Johnson Taylor Potter in an Equity Dealers assistant role before later moving over to firm Tolhurst Noall to work directly alongside the Head of Equities (Australia) before progressing into the role of ITS Operator where she was executing market orders on behalf of the Sydney and regional offices. Post this Alana spent seven years working for Shaw Stockbroking in a Private Client Advisory role before deciding that it was time for a change to a more operationally focused position and in 2010 Alana joined ASX Limited. Her six years spent at ASX saw her working across both the Market Control and Surveillance teams in a senior capacity.
Through her direct work experience across a variety of roles, Alana is a financial markets specialist that has built a loyal client base by offering tailored and personalised recruitment solutions.
Alana specialises in a multitude of financial services based roles with particular focus on equity market operational and client service positions.
